First, something squishy:
(If you hate words, you can skip this bit)
*There is something special about the days here, spent working hard next to friends old and new. About midday group HIIT sessions, spending a 5-minute pomodoro break listening to music in an enormous Moroccan-themed pillow fort, then finishing the last call of the day and coming downstairs to fifteen exceptional humans eating delicious home-cooked pan-Asian cuisine. About having everyone crowded around a wooden table discussing geology or Indian Matchmaking or the merit of country music, all while looking out over the countryside grounds where, on some days, two fluffy Llamas wander around.
There’s something special about the evenings here. About cuddles and movies on the projector in the pillow fort, about board games and deep meaningful conversations in the hot tub or bath.
There’s something special about the weekends here. About partying under glowing tentacles or fluffy clouds or pulsing lazers. Last weekend, Cli declared the Friday night to be “imposter syndrome” night and we each had to dress as one of the other members of the house. We woke up to freshly baked croissants and coffee delivered to groups of people debriefing on antics from the night before. Romy and Maggie drank mulled wine in a tiny adorable village pub. Stephen is currently leading a singalong under the Christmas tree in the library and Tim just ran into the kitchen and said “I don’t want to distract you all from what you are doing but Rory is currently driving around the front lawn on a tiny tractor”. We danced in the sauna, we discussed politics in the hot tub, we converted the giant tent into a disco paradise just to hang out there for a few hours. And Izzy spent half an hour counting for peas for a reason I haven’t even been told yet.
It felt impossible to describe the vibe here, so I just started listing* things that actually just happened*. I wanted to share because I want more of the amazing people I’ve met and know to come and experience this. And to contribute their own spin on the whole thing, because we build this together. And we enjoy it together. We are so, so lucky to have this incredible home in our lives for three months a year.
Come help us make the most of it.
Come for a weekend, then come for a week, then come for another.
WELCOME TO SEASON 4!!!*

<aside> 🕺 What are the parties like?
Whatever we can imagine!
We’ve had German dance clubs, country hoedowns, drum ‘n’ basement, and bathroom boogies; silly games and epic tournaments; sword fights, wizard duels, riddle solving; we’ve put a plane in the dining room and a beach in the library; narrative adventures, tarot readings, blanket forts, speakeasies; we’ve dressed up as mermaids and wizards and cowboys and each other; sometimes there’s a house band.
