New addition to flier: (skip if you don’t like words)

There is something about working hard next to friends close and new. Disappearing for calls, re-appearing for midday PT gym sessions, 5 minute pomodoro breaks listening to music  in an enormous Moroccan-themed pillow fort. Finishing the last call of the day and coming downstairs to fifteen exceptional humans eating delicious home cooked pan Asian cuisine around a wooden table next to an oil-fueled Aga and views out over the countryside grounds, and on some days, two fluffy Llamas wandering around.

In the last four days we worked hard, we cuddled and watched movies on the projector in the pillow fort, played games of deception and partied under the glowing tentacles from a Kraken New Years Eve. Cli themed the Friday “imposter syndrome” and we each had to dress as one of the other members of the house, and we woke up to freshly baked croissants and coffee delivered to groups of people debriefing on antics from the night before. Romy and Maggie drank mulled wine in a tiny adorable village pub. Richie is currently leading a candle-lit yearly reflection session in the library and Tim just ran into the kitchen and said “I don’t want to distract you all from what you are doing but Rory is currently driving around the front lawn on a tiny tractor”. We danced in the sauna, we discussed politics in the hot tub, we converted the giant tent into a disco paradise just to hang out there for a few hours.

Theo found a hand-drawn painting of himself in the hallway, Stephen invented a new cocktail that is fucking delicious and Izzy spent half an hour counting for peas for a reason I haven’t even been told yet.

I’m adding this to the flier because I wanted to somehow attempt to convey the love I feel for this place and the magic of the people that stay here. The words weren’t quite coming to me and then I remembered some of the events of the last three days and realised that was my best bet. So much happens. Everyone is so delightful. The energy is delicious, and the vibe is still crazy productive for work.

So that’s the what, and the how. The why, is that I wanted to share, but also because I want more of the amazing people I’ve met and know to come and experience this. And to contribute their own spin on the whole thing, because we build this together. And we enjoy it together. We are so so lucky to have this incredible home in our lives for three months a year. Come help us make the most of it. Come for a weekend, come for a week, then come for another.

Previous, personally I think less good, description continues below.

Please note nobody takes pictures of people working.

So you’ll just have to imagine that part.

Fellow llamas and llamas-to-be,

Back for it’s third season,

somehow, and against all odds,

we have again rented a 15 bedroom, 15 acre,

Georgian estate, for 3 months,
